Does anyone know when the new Boyzone song is due to hit the Airwaves,have head it is this Month,and also has had mentions on various News Bulletins,but haven't heard of any First Play as yet.

It will be on the radio within the next 2 weeks. Mikey spoke to Kevin Hughs (Music and Showbiz Reporter/Presenter 95.8 Capital FM London/Global Radio Network ) yesterday at the DOI launch. I know Ronan has said that it is being sent to the radio stations on the 8th of Jan, but they don't always play it straight away. You never know Ronan might play it on his Magic radio show on Sunday, so its worth a listen just in case

I'm hoping he does play it.

I hope we get to hear it here... I can't wait to hear Steo's angelic voice again on something new

I guess that means Ronan will play it on Sunday the 17th, and it will be played (hopefully) on the other stations from Monday the 18th. I have all fingers and toes crossed that it gets some good airplay from the large radio stations.....can't help worrying though

It needs e-mailing and texting to the stations as of now to get this on,and as You say the Major ones as well,we all know what Radio 1 are like,mind You I won't listen to that station anyway but they still need to add it to the playlist,as do Radio 2,and all the Capital ones and as I have already said Heart and Wave 105 in the South,so there are some to contact,the more that do it the better.

Heart usually plays bz singles dont they, I think...as do radio 2...well unless Mikey meant the first airplay was on the 17th on Ro's show, not the 18, but what he probably meant was that ro's show 17 and general 18. It would make sense the exclusive airplay was on Ronan's show.

Not a good idea to start untill the song has gone to radio, otherwise it looks like an internet fan campaign, and not a genuine request from "joe public" to hear a good song. Stations have been known to blacklist artists (e.g.Darren Hayes) from over zealous fans block requesting airplay, it really has to be carefully done. We have to wait and see  as to which stations are going to play it on their own accord. If Capital, Heart and Radio 2 play it on the 18th it will mean that they are going to support it, thats the time to start requesting it. If the feedback from listeners is good then they will add it to their playlists.   

I'm quietly confident that Ronan will play it next week, if not then deffo in two weeks he will.

The Video will be shown on Sky News on Monday the 18th, there will also be an interview with Ronan and Keith.

Oh yes I'm so excited too. I've hoped that I would hear the new bz single on Ro's radio show yesterday. Anyway I'm looking forward to the single cause I'm afraid of tears like you jazzie berry.

By the way I must say that your signature and avatar  is fantantic. How do ya get that pic it looks amazing.
